Sorry, League of Legends: I'm just too nooby for you.
On the other hand, I have been hooked on the Fire Emblem series! I downloaded an emulator on my phone and started playing Fire Emblem: Rekka No Ken. Their game play reminds me of Suikoden's war battles, which was nostalgic and enjoyable, and their story was pretty good. I like the support conversations, as well. It gives you a better connection with other characters (such as Hector and Eliwood), and you could possibly let other characters marry. I haven't completed everyone's support conversations yet (4%, haha) but I will, eventually.
I was so hooked on Rekka No Ken that I really wanted to find out what happened 15-20 years prior.......sooooo I backtracked and played the 6th installment of Fire Emblem: Binding Blade. The one that has Roy.
Eeeeee!!
Binding Blade is a decent game, so far. You get to see characters from Rekka No Ken, as well as some of the character's children! I was squealing and tearing when I saw someone's kid in BB, they look so adorable!!
However, I am currently stuck on a boss. Not because my characters keep dying, but their accuracy just plain SUCKS. Let me show you how my characters are set up.
Love my diagram?
Basically the ones in red are my long ranged fighters, the pink is decoy, and the green heals anyone who is adjacent to her. The left red box throws a hand axe (x2) every turn. The two cavaliers in red boxes throws a javelin. The one in orange is the main fighter who attacks with a strong weapon (Halberd). What do they all have in common? Their accuracy SUCKS. ALL OF THEM. I swear to you it has been 10 minutes of the same thing: one person out of the four strikes them, enemy loses 2 points on their health, enemies turn, heals the 2 points because he's on the throne (it heals him), and he strikes either the decoy (who has superb defense) or the two red boxes on the left (why I have a healer adjacent to them). Everyone else outside of that zone -- like the archer and pegasus knight -- remain there because their defense and skill is incredibly low...One hit and they're dead. Apparently the guards they've fought beforehand didn't give them much experience points to level up.
My last resort is honestly switching the knight near the stairs with the orange boxed fighter and finish off the boss in one blow (since he's so friggin OP in both RNK and BB).
But I'm going to let my insanity get the best of me, first. :D
